Innovation Village Award 2026

Logistic Green Label Reaches the Innovation Village Award 2026 Finals

Logistic Green Label is a finalist in the Innovation Village Award 2026. The project was selected in the category covering aerospace, logistics, sustainable mobility and smart cities. It will take part in the finals on November 13, 2026, at the Auditorium Porta del Parco in Naples.

This is the first time we have shared news of the competition on our website. The Innovation Village Award is an annual prize for projects that can contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Now in its eighth edition, the award is established and supported by Knowledge for Business, ASviS and ENEA. From 205 applications submitted in 2026, 24 projects were selected as finalists across eight areas of innovation.

What we will present

Logistic Green Label aims to make the environmental impact of deliveries easier to understand. A delivery involves transport, warehouse operations and packaging. Assessing its impact requires operational data, a calculation method and information people can access.

The solution we will present associates each shipment with a digital label available through a link or QR code. Recipients can consult the published information about estimated emissions and any associated offsetting. The aim is to connect an environmental claim to a specific delivery and make the information behind it clear and verifiable.

The project is already being tested in a real setting. In the Logistic Green Label Lite protocol trial, Logivery integrated emissions estimation, offsetting and digital label generation into its platform for shipments from Goldixa.com, the ecommerce business operated by Oro & Argento srl. More than 500 Green Labels had been issued through this trial as of October 21, 2026.

The trial makes it possible to assess the calculation method, the consistency of the offsetting process and the clarity of the information shown to recipients during normal shipping operations. In the Goldixa case, the environmental contribution supports Olivami, a project working to restore olive growing in Salento following the spread of Xylella. Information about offsetting is presented separately from the emissions generated by transport, so readers can understand what each figure represents.

What happens at the finals

The 2026 finals will begin at 9:00 a.m. on November 13. During the morning, each of the 24 finalists will present a four-minute pitch. The eight category winners will then advance to an afternoon tournament, which will determine the overall winner of the Innovation Village Award 2026.

For Logistic Green Label, the event is an opportunity to present a working application and discuss a question that affects anyone who shops online: how can people see the environmental information behind a delivery, especially as shipping volumes rise during the year-end shopping season?

Attendance as a spectator is by invitation. To request an invitation, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The organiser provides further details on the finals page.
